Which is the preferred type of birth control?

I’m thinking about getting put on birth control. So I was wondering from your personal experience which is the best. And if you don’t mind share your experience.

I had a lot of issues with the shot (side effects) the pill was okay, but have to remember to take it everyday and at the same time which can be hard if you live a busy lifestyle. 
By far, my favorite and go to was the nexplanon - I’ve had it for 6 years and would get it again after we are done ttc. I had the least side effects, never had to remember anything, good for 3 years, and almost invisible (under the skin in your arm)! 
I feel like there is always horror stories about the nexplanon, but I’ve never had any issues and same for my family members that have it!

IUD or the implant. I had a dreadful experience on the pill and I would never recommend that piece of shit to anyone

I can only use condoms 😭 I’ve tried so many other birth controls and my body just can’t handle hormone changes and my OB thinks an IUD isn’t a safe option for me because of health issues.

I'm on Nexplanon, but I'm having it removed tomorrow!! for health reasons mostly (I can't lose the weight I gained after it was inserted and it's caused depression and low self esteem, as well as physical pain), but hopefully hubby and I will start trying within the next year!

i use the pill. the same time every day thing is a little annoying, but i haven’t gotten pregnant yet so it’s doing the job 😂
