Thoughts?

So my husband has not been super helpful when it comes to names. Last night we were stuck in the car together for several hours and got to talking. He mentioned his favorite girl’s name and I don’t hate it!

Problem is, it is the name of my boss’ daughter. I’ve worked there for several years and will probably be a “lifer”. My boss isn’t leaving anytime soon either. I would say we are more friends than just work colleagues, so we are close. But her daughter is 25 (my age). I have met her daughter and see her occasionally.

What are other people’s thoughts on using names of people you know? Would it feel weird? It wouldn’t be a rule out just because we know someone with the name. We know we cannot rule out every name because we know someone who knows someone who mentioned it once. Just don’t want work to be weird with kids 25 years apart with the same name.
