My body just playing with my emotions!

I been on this journey for 7 months and it has been like a rollercoaster with mixed emotions. So in July I got my AF 10 days late, I got a bad cold on ovulation week, but we still BD. I was hoping deep inside that maybe this month was the month. My AF is supposed to come in Aug 8 and I been having very sore breast, I won't lie I got excited because I also had no PMS symptoms like I usually do. Last night I dreamed that I tested and it was +, so this morning I woke up and remember I had an extra test from last month I did't use. But as I was about to test I've noticed that AF showed her ugly face 4 days early. I guess I'm out this month. Have anyone experience this before?
