I don’t want it to bother me, but it bothers me.

My husband and I decided we weren’t telling anyone our baby girls name until she was born, because we know it’s different and isn’t really the type of name either of our families choose. My name is Stormie, but that’s as different as any of the names get (my parents were also young hippies). Names on my side of the family are Blake, Jessica, Madison, Jacob, Brandy, Donovon, Tammy. Names on his side are Annabelle, Jersey, Charlie, Ella, Emily, Stephanie, Stephen, and Piper. Our first daughter is Brynlie Rayne, and everyone loved her name from the start. But when we told our parents our newest girl name, they aren’t big fans. And I didn’t want it to bother me or make me change the name, but it’s bothering me and I’m wanting to change the name. It’s been bothering me for like 3 weeks, because I want to know what her name will be before she’s here, so I can call her something other than the baby and somehow she’s been nicknamed “little fetus” 🙄. I just don’t know what to do. I don’t even want to post the name on here, because I don’t want even more name negativity....
