I’ve had the Mirena iud for over a year now & have noticed a lowered sex drive. I’m also on Zoloft so that could be part of the issue. It’s frustrating to me because the whole point of getting the iud was to keep from getting pregnant but if I’m not even the least bit interested in sex then why even bother. I want to get it taken out because I want to start trying to have a baby with my husband but he doesn’t want that yet. The pills I’ve tried in the past are way worse. Low doses give me terrible periods & the normal doses make me crazy. Does anyone else have this issue or any recommendations?
