Are you keeping TTC a secret or letting everyone know?

Question

My husband and I just got married on May 31st and we've been ttc since June. We've been together for over 7 years and the majority of time we'd get the typical "when are you getting married/having a baby?" questions. Now that we ARE married that only leaves the baby question. Every time someone asks us about babies I just kind of ignore them because after so many years of hearing them I'm tired of the questions and don't want them to know. Is this weird? The other reason is because what if it takes us months or years to conceive?  I really don't want to hear all the questions/comments the whole time. Also I should add I don't have much patience for these questions anymore so that contributes too. What have you been doing...letting everyone know or keeping it a private topic and what do you think about it?

We haven't told family or friends because we don't want ppl knowing and then thinking 'oh nothing has happened, maybe there's something wrong?' We just don't need that pressure. But we are being asked constantly especially since we got married in march. Someone told me that if ppl ask you should say 'god willing' then they daren't ask any more! Lol 
​Sometimes I think it might help telling ppl as it feels so scary alone and I could ask for advice but then that's what these forums are for!

We're keeping it a secret, which makes it really hard to not drink (especially when month after month I'm not pregnant yet) without my family and close friends getting suspicious--they know that I love my wine! I have a horrible poker face so I've had a few super awkward laughs and denials when my family asks me about when we're going to have kids or why I'm not drinking. It's hard to keep a secret when you don't even know of there's a secret to keep :/
​It's helped me to tell a few of my friends just to have people to talk to. I also caved and told my sister last month so that she could take over drinking my drinks at a few family gatherings (dh doesn't drink so he can't help).

My in-laws just got us a trip to Vegas this fall, and having to hide drinking on that trip would be super hard and expensive for all of the wasted drinks they would buy me. I hope I'm pregnant then, so that even if it's easily I can tell them and be able to just enjoy the trip.

We've only told a few close friends. Otherwise everyone has an opinion/comment that's unwanted. We have a two year old and we miscarried last year, so they've mostly stayed off our backs about it.

I made the mistake of telling practically everyone .... that was at the beginning of the year when I came off  birth control .... Now 6 months later I'm getting "are you pregnant yet?"
​"Do hand stands after sex" 
​"Relax and it'll happen" etc etc all the time !! 
​I wish I had kept it more quiet , the pressure is on when more people know ...

We have told close friends but not family. I didn't want everyone knowing because what if it takes us a while to get pregnant. We just starting ttc#1 a couple months ago.

Keeping it a secret,I've already been pregnant twice but lost both so I think it's best that I not tell anyone until i know it's a successful pregnancy.

Im in the same boat. I've been with DH for  13 years and have only been ttc this year. The first time i was asked was at 17 by his mother! She's been hounding me ever since!

Ive been married since oct 13  we've been ttc since our honeymoon which has been 10 months and i just started telling people we r ttc about 3 months ago
