Laying on my back?

Hi!  When I'm on the couch or in bed, can I lay on my back? How many weeks along should I stop? I'm 5 weeks and have been pooped, laying on the couch a lot.

I bought the Comfort U pillow on Amazon. It's awesome and makes me WANT to sleep/lay on my side. It supports my back, head, and I can have the pillow between my knees for support. It's a huge pillow, so DH sometimes cuddles with it too just so he doesn't fall off our queen sized bed!

You can lay on your back until around the 3rd trimester.

You're good to lay on your back. It's mostly as you get further along and your baby gets bigger. If it starts to feel uncomfortablr, shift. But you should start now trying to sleep on your sides.

When you get bigger the weight of the baby can cut off some blood circulation to your lower back and legs. 5 weeks should be ok, im 10 and a half weeks and still lay on my back for a while if the side is uncomfortable. 👌😊

I believe its around 20wks that you should actively start avoiding it, but ive been trying to train myself to sleep only on my side since i got pregnant, that way it would be easy when i had to. Took a few weeks
