heating pad during pregnancy?

i have a tethered spinal cord and scoliosis i have been trying to ignore my back pain but it is getting worse. am i able to use a heating pad to relieve some of my pains? i know i can take tylenol but im trying not to take anything other than prenatal until the 2nd trimester. im only 7 weeks 3 days.

1) Yes, heating pads are perfectly safe on the back. 
2) Unless your doctor recommended against it, there is no reason to wait til second trimester to take Tylenol. Take a couple regular strength or one extra strength Tylenol, hun. No reason to suffer needlessly through this pain.

heating pad is safe just make sure to use it for like a hour then take a break for a bit then use it again if needed. i used mine last pregnancy all the way up to the day before i was induced due to back pain. go ahead and take a Tylenol its better for you and baby to manage your pain
