Our new best mate is finally here!! Oscar Jack Owen March. Born 17th July, 7 pounds 10 ounces. Its been 3 weeks today since i went into hospital and spent the night after getting induced with cervidil tape (due to currently living in VIC and travelling to SA for the birth) . What an amazing experience!!!!

July 16th:

9pm- Arrived at hospital and checked in.

10.30pm- Cervidil tape inserted.

July 17th:

7am- epidural inserted (vomited and almost passed out from this, but felt amazing after)

9am- waters got broken

1pm- 5cms

3pm- 10cms

3.30pm- began to push

3.57pm- Oscar arrived!!!! 😍💃🥂

Loved the whole experience and will 100% get induced again if we decide to have a second child.

The little man is 3 weeks old tomorrow and it has flown by! My milk came in late and I really struggled for the first 2 weeks. I was in a lot of pain and I was crying over any little thing. From forgetting to bring a maternity pad to the bathroom to thinking about how someone else is probably staying in the hospital room I was in 😂😂😂 All is great now and breast feeding has become second nature thank goodness.
