So here I am feeling like I've been hit by a semi truck. Went to L&D; last night with Horrible painful contractions at 5 minutes apart. I'm 38 weeks 5cm dilated and 80%effaced. My baby is sunny side up and WONT COME OUT! I was just given Morphine and Zofran and sent on my way still having contractions at 4 minutes apart and in excruciating pain. They won't do anything to help me. This happened with my first when living in NC and they induced me to keep the contractions going and the doctor had to actually turn my daughter. But this time they are just saying to continue to try to turn him and keep waiting. I've been having daily contractions everyday for 2 weeks. I'm in so much pain. I can't sleep. I can't eat. I throw up from the pain. I don't know what else to do! How am I supposed to know when to go back if they are just going to keep sending me home. This can't be healthy to allow a mom to keep going into labor and stall out. I feel like FL is so different on how they practice medicine. Anyone have any advice or heard of this happening to anyone else... I'm at my wits end. Idk how much more pain I can take.
