does smells make you throw up while pregnant?

idk smells can make you throw up.. well i found out today.. 😭.. wanted to keep my pregnancy a secret from my mother in law but i think she might have an idea... glad to say its my 1st time doing it.. i guess i better get use to it.... or can being hungry make you throw up? i was hungry right before i throw up.. has anyone experience this?

During my last pregnancy my own spit could make me throw up. It’s totally normal for everything to make you nauseous.

I was sick because of food in general in my last pregnancy but if I smelled tomato pasta or anything like that I literally had to stop breathing in the smell or I would be sick. 
My first pregnancy caused me to reject food and have nose bleeds. It was hard to keep hidden.
Yet this pregnancy the only thing that made me feel sick so far was a chicken and chorizo sandwich from subway.

Smell can definitely make you sick. with my 3 boys i could not handle the smell or taste of garlic and so many other things. i could smell garlic on someone standing 5 feet away and get nauseous from it. it was rough.

Yes certain people are more sensitive to the heightened sense of smell, but I think it’s most important to eat small meals and snacks throughout the day to avoid getting too hungry because that leads to major nausea which is why people say to put some crackers on your nightstand and eat some before getting up in the morning.

Haha yes I did with my 1st pregnancy. Gosh I love chicken and when I smelt it cooked or in rotisserie form I would would throw up. Currently with this pregnancy I haven’t gotten that yet.
