Retroverted Uterus?!

Had an ultrasound today and found out I have a retroverted uterus. This is after having given birth to 3 babies, 6 total pregnancies, and lots of pap smears! It seems so weird that no one has ever mentioned it before so feeling a little shocked. Not too concerned though after googling it.
On another note, babe was looking good at 9w3d and already so in love! 😍 Can't wait to find out boy or girl. 👶

That is because your uterus change position! It is like that now but it may not have been before. Many things can make it change. Mine was retrovert when I was 22 and I had another routine ultrasound when I was 25 and it was back “normal”.

Mine is also retroverted.  No mention of it before with my last pregnancy 🤷🏻‍♀️

I was told I had a retroverted uterus when I was 17. Didn’t hear another word about it for ten more years! (After 3 pregnancies) most drs don’t mention it because it’s not a big deal!

I didn’t know anything until my last son almost two years ago they said I had an tilted uterus which they described it was out towards my belly. This pregnancy it’s retroverted so apparently it shifted after last pregnancy.

🙋‍♀️ I was told at 18(?) it’s never given me any troubles except when the U/S techs don’t know. They have a rough time finding my ovaries or uterus. My U/S last week the nurse practitioner told me it was really retroverted and she had a hard time getting the baby in the center of the screen.
