Fertility treatment

How far have people gone with the fertility treatment? I'm just starting. The gave me a medicine that will start a period in 7-10 days. On day 3 of my period in need to have blood work done. Idk what to expect after that. Basically I've had one period since I got off the pill in January and they aren't sure if I'm ovulating. Anyone go through this? Not sure what to expect. They're test my husband too.
