What happens on Transfer Day! So nervous... 1st FET

Exciting for you! Had mine on the 26th... They had me come with a full bladder and took Valium an hour before transfer. Basically got changed in a gown then wheeled into the room, the nurse checked to make sure my bladder was the right fullness (I had to empty some bc I was too full), then the lab doc showed me my embryo on a screen (lab is adjacent to procedure room in my clinic). My doc got the catheter in place and then the lab doc brought in the embryo and put it in.. you can see it go in and onto the lining on the ultrasound. Then they wheeled me back out and I was done! After going to lunch with DH, I passed out the rest of the day thanks to the Valium. Pretty quick and easy, very surreal! Had my beta today and unfortunately my FET failed (my first, one PGS embryo) but we are looking to try again as soon as my body is ready, perhaps with two this time around. Nice description! This was my experience also, but no Valium and nobody wheels you anywhere at my clinic - we just have to walk 😂
