It’s not that I don’t want them to meet him. My boyfriend and I are long distance so we rarely get to spend time together with just me and him. My family is upset with me because they haven’t met him yet and they’re making me feel bad about it.

I will say this, when I met his family, they showed me so much love and welcomed me into their home with open arms. His parents and siblings love me, his friends love me as well. But when my boyfriend met my mom, she made things really uncomfortable. This could play a factor into it.

Is it bad that he hasn’t met my family yet?

PS: He wants to meet them. He feels like we barely have any time together so we both try to spend as much time with each other as we can.

PSS: We’ve known each other for 9 years and we officially met and started dating almost 3 years ago (all online) 😅 Both are 21 years old.
