why is it getting lighter?

I'm supposed to be ovulating in 2 days (wednesday) according to glow and I started testing yesterday but the lines are getting lighter and not darker? did I miss it? can it get lighter and then darker? I'm so confused!!

I’ve had this happen and then boom one day I tested and it’s positive 🤷🏻‍♀️ I always thought it was going to get gradually darker as I approached ovulation but that didn’t happen

Yes LH can go up and down. It doesn’t progressively get darker even though for some it can. Keep testing

It can definitely get light before ovulation! But also, don’t rely on Glow to be 100% (or even 90%) accurate! The date you ovulate fluctuates cycle to cycle, depending on lots of factors. For example, you may ovulate on day 16 on average, but likely ovulate anywhere between day 14 to day 18, in a normal cycle.

Yup, it can get lighter first. Mine disappeared completely for a few days and then near postive and postive.
