Missed period

So I’m 11 days late on my period and I took a pregnancy test and it says I’m not pregnant. But i was being cheap and went to the dollar store to get one🤣 I was thinking about going to the doctor tomorrow to get a blood test to see if I’m pregnant because those are more accurate. Has anyone else had this happen before? Where they took an at home pregnancy test and it was negative then went to the doctor and found out they’re pregnant?
