Who will you have in the room with you

Each to their own and honestly have no judgement against anyone else's decisions, but me and my husband made this baby and this is the beginning of OUR family - so i hadnt even considered having anyone else in the delivery room or even at the hospital.

I also want the first 3 days to be just the 3 of us so that we can all get to know each other and bond as a family.... and yes that does mean no grandparents for the first 3 days.  May be harsh but we are first time parents and need time to adjust to our new roles.

Before our first was born my mom insisted on being in the room, she was and after it all asked to NEVER be in that room again. LoL. So our second child's birth was induced and it was just my husband and I, this time we're also only planning for my husband and I to be on the room. (It's crowded enough already wth the nurses and doctor running around like headless chickens). We welcome Immediate family to come visit next day or when we're home. Also, never had an issue with MiL wanting to be there. I've expressed my need for privacy and to not expose my private parts to the world (politely of course).

My SO, my mom (she's never seen a baby being born even though this is her third grandchild), and my MIL (she's never missed the birth of a grandchild).

I might be alone cuz my hubby is in military and I have csection on August 18 and he prob can't get away cuz he is in school

My first birth it was my husband, mom, and MIL, but I went in for an induction so everyone knew when and where to go. But with my second, he came a week early and we barely made it to the hospital on time, so it was only my husband and I. With this pregnancy, I just want it to be my husband and I again, it was a really intimate moment to have our baby with just the two of us (and the hospital staff, of course lol) present. I had it both ways, and that is the way I prefer!:)

Well. Due to my hubby being in marine boot camp, he will not be seeing the birth of his first born.. 😔 so only my mom & best friend & cousin.

My first I had the hubs, sis in law and grandma plus like 3 nurses in training they ask me if they could watch I said why not!! At the moment I didn't even pay attention to who was there I have awesome pictures of everything I mean every single detail and I love it.!! Now it's going to be my husband, my mom and my 6yo and my dad they will be praying with me and helping me to go through all of it 😍 we are so loved and blessed

I'm just having my husband. I would have my mom except then it's going to be a big deal with the mil and my mom and husband both know that and are fine with it being just us two. My mom said she will be ready to come asap if I do need her there for any reason. We're doing hypnobirthing and don't want an entire audience so this is just to be fair I guess

My husband is my support and my mom will be in there to catch the whole thing on camera for us, we want to capture the seconds and minutes after she is born!
