I had to be induced mainly due to his size and concerns over him cooking too long. 58 hours later of labor, 2 failed epidurals, and finally at an 8cm, his head just wasn’t descending into my pelvis. I was exhausted and just wanted my son healthy and I’m my arms so we opted for the C section.

It wasn’t how I imagined giving birth to my first child by any means, but what matters most is a healthy baby at the end of it all. He was placed in my arms at 8:30pm August 6th at a whopping 9 lbs 2 ounces!
