Okay I've been talking for this boy for over a year and we've just had sex a few months ago (he took my virginity) but we aren't dating but he waited a year and I wanted to try that's why we did it do yall think that was a dumb decision I'm 16 btw

Honestly I just recently lost my v card to my boyfriend. I feel you should definitely have a strong, long term, emotional relationship before a physical one. However do not regret it, do not let people tell you it was a waste. Everyone has to have their first at some point in their life, and lets face it, in this day and age, it is highly unlikely for anyone's first to be their last! So take it for what it is, your first. If you do get serious with him, please let it be because it is for more than sex. You are not a sex toy, so don't be in a relationship to act like one.
