Stabbing pain down in my vagina ?!

Ive been getting this since last week am I starting to dilate it thin ?

I am 35 and 2 weeks. I get a pain, but more so a strong shock-like a super painful pluck of a guitar string is how I look at it. It feels like it's almost connected to my urethra or something. Ahhh so painful but usually only lasts about 10 seconds until the baby does it again. And again, and sometimes again (like when I was trying to grocery shop today) I know it's normal though.

I've been getting a stabbing pain in my vagina for a while now and I'm 36 weeks. The pain normally happens when I'm walking and I stop and just wait a second. The doctor told me at first that it could be the baby hitting off my pelvis bone... Then recently I was told that the baby is probably moving down.

I've had this for weeks and I'm only 35 weeks now.  Chiro and massage help a lot.  I think it's related to ligament pain.  Didn't have this with my first, but I guess second pregnancy is different.

Your baby is most likely already head down and sliding into position. Doesn't mean preterm labor or anything, just that they are preparing for their eventual debut. Could also be your cervix beginning to dilate, which again is natural as your body prepares.
