I pronounce it different every time I say it because it’s not a term I naturally use 😅
I naturally say Auntie but I pronounce that like “anti” 😅

My mother’s side is from New England and my father’s side is from the south east. All of my aunts on my mom’s side we pronounce “aunt” and all of the aunts on my dads side are “ants”.

I use both. It just depends who I’m talking to and what accent/region I’m in. People around here seem to use both. “Ant” is more grating on my ears, tbh, but not as bad as “Warshington” or “Illinoize.” 😖
