Anyone taken their toddler to high altitude?

Question

We’re traveling to CO at the end of this week and we’ll be at around 8,200 feet. I know the altitude affects me, personally, even in Denver. We’re coming from South Florida, so probably below sea level! Does anyone have any tips? If you have traveled, did your little one handle it ok? I know everyone is different, but just wanted to see if anyone had any experience or tips or advice. Thanks!!

I live here in Colorado and all I ever emphasize to people traveling here, drink a ton of water. It really helps.

im flying in less than 48 hours. im so nervous. it will be just me and my toddler. my partner is staying home with our eldest. im also 28 weeks pregnant so im nervous lol

We went to Colorado in May and my daughter who was 15 months at the time did great! It didn’t seem to effect her at all.
