anyone get pregnant while still nursing?

we've been trying unsuccessfully for a 2nd baby and I'm still nursing my 19 month old. I'm starting to wonder if continuing to nurse could be creating a problem? I get a period but it's very irregular. I've also been using ovulation prediction strips that say when my hormones are peaking but I guess that doesn't guarantee ovulation. any advice out there? my son is not ready to wean so hopefully that's not the issue.

I just found out I’m pregnant the other day and I’m still nursing my 20 month old. My period came back at 6 weeks pp and it’s been regular ever since though.

My doctor said the reason I got pregnant is because I quit breast feeding... literally quit breast feeding three months ago and found out I’m 2 months pregnant

I got pregnant while my 20 month old was 10 months old, I am due ANYDAY !

I did! He was 16 months old. Sadly miscarried, but got preggo again two months later. I’m 8 weeks preggo STILL nursing 4 times per day.

I did when Owen was 17 months. We just cut overnight feeds and I fell pregnant that month.

I am still nursing. It took me about 7 months to get pregnant with #2. My periods were irregular even before baby #1. Try preseed. It has helped me both times to get pregnant.
