Senna or Metamucil?

Anyone know which is safer and more effective ? Constipation here !

Prunes! I put one or two in my smoothie and you can't taste them. VERY effective and natural

I've been using Metamucil every day the last month.

The most effective thing for me is coffee! lol I drink a cup of decaf (hot or cold) and within an hour I'm sitting on the toilet... If yours is severe enough you may wanna do a suppository. (It's just water not an enma so should be safe, but consult w/dr of course) ☺️☺️ good luck 
I've had too much cheese lately so was constipated yesterday, had my coffee and bam! Now I have a nice external hemorroid! 😣 win some ya loose some..... sigh

Metamucil is much safer. It is just fiber. Senna is a stimulant laxative. Try Metamucil daily in the morning first thing. Increase your total fluid intake daily, increase walking (if safe for you right now as it stimulates bowels naturally) increase intake of naturally occurring fiber too (fruits, veggies, high fiber grains like oatmeal, flax seed). You can also try drinking a little prune juice or eating 2-3 prunes each day.
