How do you feel about the name your parents chose for you?

My name is one of a kind, I’ve never met anyone with the same name in my 18 years of existence (including on google, and all social media)! ☺️ i love my name. I will not post my name anywhere for that reason also, so go by my nickname Kenna! I don’t want anyone taking it haha 😂

I've always hated my name--Dania--but loved my middle name, however I go by my first name. But my current boyfriend absolutely loves my name, so I feel a lot more confident and have learned to like it. When I told him that I hate it, he explained to me why he liked it, hence why I like it more now.

i hate my first name it's Alejandra (ah-le-handra) it's  a common Hispanic name but alot og people cant pronounce it  i perfer it in English , Alexandra.

My name is Christian, which is unisex. I haaaatted it. As I grew older, I also grew to love it. Fuck what ppl think lol. I had a baby girl 3 months ago, her name is unisex 😂 how ironic. Her name is Dakota

Don't like it. I have a complicated, long "unique" name and use a nickname probably 80 percent of the time, especially at work when answering the phone. It's amazing how people respond to a "normal" easy to pronounce, "short and sweet" name... like "Hello, (name) I have a question" instead of, "What? How do you say your name? wow.... that's, different.... how did you get that name....so anyway (struggling to pronounce name...) sorry what was it again? Ok (mispronounced name anyway after all that) so I have a question.... Just something to keep in mind for all those that want to use "unique" complicated names....

Not really. Jessica was super trendy for the 90s, doesn't really mean anything, and sounds super dated now. I would have rather had a meaningful, uncommon name. But it's not horrible.
