How long did you wait?

How long after your D&C (or miscarriage) did you wait to have sex with your SO?

A day. I bled for 10, waited a day, and that week I got pregnant. I am now 8 weeks and the baby has a strong heart beat 👍💛🌈

I waited the two weeks my doc told me to. And it was still sore but I needed to connect with my husband again so it was worth any discomfort and now everything is back to normal.

the nurses at the hospital told me to wait a month!!! I was like what???  hopefully my doctor says it's ok will wait until after the appt though it's 2 weeks away. it's going to drive me nuts but I don't want to chance it.

About 2 weeks. I bled for a week and then I needed some time emotionally to heal. Plus I was a little tender down there.

I hurt too emotionally to have sex after my first mc for about 2 weeks. After the second mc, we had sex a day or two after I finished bleeding.

I've heard a lot of different things about how long doctors tell you to wait. Mine said 2 weeks.

I had 2 D&C's one on a Wednesday and then that Friday (I had a clot blocking missed tissue so it couldn't expel) and we only waited a week. 😁

I really felt like I had. To. Have. Him.  Which was a total change, while I was pregnant I had zero sex drive.

But I've since been worried because I am always very cautious of my doctors orders.
