softcup after BD

so this is TMI (no photos though)

so after using preseed and artificially inseminating used a softcup and left it in for 8 hours after I took it out there was alot of residual 'stuff' left in the cup has anyone else experienced this?! I am worried the sperm may have gotten 'trapped' although after AI I laid there for 30 minutes before putting in the cup.

so my question is has anyone used a softcup and have a lot of 'stuff' left in it? But still successfully conceived?
