Facebook Groups for fellow businesses
Ok, so I am part of a group of fellow Dog Groomers for my State. I love being a part of it because everyone shares their artistry and cuts that they’ve done. It also lets us stay connected on attending shows, and events. All fun and games right? Well, there is a down side to this group. It has turned into groomers post pictures of dogs, alongside the owners names, and telling people not to take these certain dogs as clients because of behavior, poor condition, or if the client is a “pain in the butt” to deal with. Personally, I think this is kind of a invasion of client-owner information. I have my fair share of clients who are difficult to deal with, but I would never post about them specially so that another groomer would not take them in as a client.
So my question is: do you think it is right that the admins of this group let these posts be made? That allowing one persons experience deviate from what another groomer might experience with the same dog and owner. And is it right for them to be posting the people’s name alongside pictures of their dogs?
