So my current boyfriend is just what I need. A little background, I'm the type to get bothered pretty easily and just brush it aside but lowkey hold grudges. And that's been a bit of a problem with my past relationships. Anyways, I've been with my boyfriend for 2 years and he's just been so patient and good to me. When we get in a fight or an argument, he's the type to talk it out with me, while I would just say forget it, just to avoid getting in a fight. It ends up biting me back in the ass because I don't get the chance to move on from it. So with my boyfriend, he's so patient with me and knows the right ways to talk to me and catches me and brings me back to reality when I get all negative and closed off. During a fight, he'll calm himself down and try not to get mad, like he rarely ever screams. And he just talks it out with me, asks my point of view, and we go on to find resolutions and ways to avoid the certain fight from happening again. I just feel so lucky and so in love with him. He was patient enough to help me get over my ego and helped me from being toxic to myself and to other people. And I'm just so happy to be with him. Like when I first started dating him, he was the type to keep himself from crying, but I helped him to be vulnerable with me (I'm very big on crying because it makes me feel better). Like its just so nice to look back and see where we were to where we are now and I'm so happy. Also he's great in bed because he's patient there too and is willing to help me get there even when he gets tired. Anyways I know it was a long post but I feel so in love right now, and had to share. Ladies, there are good men out there. If your SO is shitty to you and likes to pass the blame instead of looking at the problem as something the both of you can work on to fix. He is not worth your time. If he doesn't want to make you guys better as a team, he's not worth your time. With patience, you can find someone who will be better than the last <3
