What were your signs?

Ladies who went into labor on your own. what were some of the signs leading up to it? I had really loose bowels this morning (sorry tmi) .. and alllllll day I've been in the bathroom trying to push more out. I feel like I have to poop BADLY, but nothing is coming out. Having some contractions, but mainly just period like cramping all day.

The biggest sign for me was that I was having cervical changes. Blood tinged mucus, bloody show, cramps, etc.. my water actually broke when I was only 1cm dilated with my first. 
With this one- in currently 4cm and in “early labor” (I call bullshit😖), my contractions are real (Banding around my stomach and back) and causing slow progression. I was “barely” 1cm Monday and I’m not 4cm. I’ve had a ton of mucus when I wipe. It’s blood tinged as well. Sex hurts when he hits my cervix, etc. 
You can have so many signs or none at all. The most obvious for me is cervical changes!

omg be careful, lol I had very lose bowl, all day sunday, gosh back and fourth to the toilet...finally once done, I realized I had a hemorrhoid from hell...days later nothing us helpings, even with the cream dr prescribed me...ugh sorry tmi

I had prodromal labor for five days and the day before I gave birth, I just felt ‘off’ It’s really difficult to explain exactly how I felt but I knew I felt different. Not sick, just strangely different. No contractions, do diarrhea, no nausea, heartburn, reflux, discharge. No signs at all besides some random, not painful or regular Braxton Hicks. This was all day on a Wednesday I felt this this, I woke up at 12:25am to a contractions strong enough to wake me and from there it escalated SO FAST! Within 20 minutes I had to wake hubby to call my SIL and 1 hour 22 minutes from when I woke up, I was holding my son 😍

I had no signs with my first, water broke and was not having any contractions.
