I don't think baby will drop because he's so big, measuring over 8.5 lb. They don't always drop right? I'm 39+4 and tummy looks the same

I’m 5ft tall. None of my babies ever “dropped” . There was literally no where for them to go.

I can feel my baby’s head in my pelvis. I know he’s very low due to the increasing pressure, plus had a recent ultrasound that confirmed that as well. The look of your tummy isn’t always an indicator of dropping! My stomach looks just as high up but my baby is fully engaged on my pelvis. He’s just big and long!

My first baby never dropped, water broke with no contractions. After 24 hours trying to be induced I was still only 3 cm and baby hadn’t dropped. Ended up having a c-section because of mine and baby’s blood pressure. 
Now I’m 38w 4d and baby still hasn’t dropped. Doctor said at my appointment this week that I must have a small pelvis that keeps baby from descending. He is also anticipating another big baby. I have another c-section planned for Monday, I’ll be 39w and 2d.
