Sex after IUD?

How fast did you have sex after placement of the IUD?? I got the Paragard yesterday and I wanna know ;) (sorry it’s a little personal!) Luckily I am having very little spotting and my procedure had minor pain.

I was in too much pain in the beginning but after about 3 days my husband came inside of me for the first time and it was amazing and 9 months later.. no baby!

Two or three days. You can have sex as soon as you want though (but use condoms if it’s not effective for a week)

Don't insert anything in your vagina for the first few days to decrease the risk for infection

I waited a week or a week and a half! Just use a condom and wait a while so your body gets used to it
