I didn't realize I was talking to the wrong person

So I started talking to a guy on a dating site and eventually I told him to add my snapchat. Which he did or I thought he did and we started talking there. It never occurred to me to ask for a picture idk why but ig because his bitmoji looked similar to the pictures I saw on his profile. We've talked through text and on the phone and tonight he followed my Instagram and it turns out the guy I've been talking to for the past 2 weeks isn't the guy I met on the site. Im not sure if I made a mistake and the real guy never added me or if he catfished me. I find it a little strange that both guys live in the same city that's an hr away from me. Also his bitmoji doesn't look like him it looks more like the first guy. We made plans to meet but now I don't want to and im not sure what to do next.
