He wants to sleep with me over the phone?

Hi girls! 💕
Soo my fiance and I prefer to speak on the phone more than anything because texting is exhausting lol. Every night, when we're done with our day, he calls me and we just talk about anything and everything until one of us gets sleepy ☎️ 
Now I'm not complaining since I love him and his company, but he NEVER wants to hang up. When it's time to sleep, he always asks for us to keep the call going while we're sleeping until our phones hang up on their own after reaching the 4 hour limit in the middle of the night. It's cute because if I happen to wake up in the middle of the night, I can hear him sleeping through the phone on my bedside table and feel a sense of comfort 🛌😴
Like I said, I love him so much and I'm not complaining. My question is I'm just wondering why he prefers to sleep this way and doesn't like hanging up? Does your boyfriend do this?

my boyfriend and i do this all the time. we just use facetime so we wake up to each other in the morning 😂 hooray for 10 hour calls

My husband and I were in a LDR for 2 years. He was in the USA and I was in the U.K. We would regularly stay on the phone when it was time for me to sleep and sometimes when it was time for him to sleep too if I didn't have work. 
I found it really settling to be able to hear him while I was drifting off to sleep, and he would just carry on doing whatever with me asleep in his ear. Great if I woke, he was right there.
We still do it now when he goes over the the states without me

When my SO and I were dating we lived an hour and 45min apart. On nights we couldn't be together we talked until we fell asleep on the phone ❤️ I loved hearing him breathe (snore 🙄😂) next to me through the phone. It made us feel closer to each other.

The boyfriend I dated from 15-18 did this with me nearly every night the entire relationship. We’d even continue the phone call on our way to school 😂🤦🏻‍♀️

My ex and I, we were in HS at the time, would do this everyday!! Even though we had just saw each other at school, it was a daily routine. I found it cute, we both never wanted to hang up & just ended up falling asleep on the phone. It does make you feel some kind of comfort in the middle of the night, and you hear them snoring or what not. Lol But that was HS, you two are adults and obviously it’s still heartwarming, I will always think sleeping on the phone together, regardless of everything, is the best thing ever. ❣️
