why is saving so damn hard ???

im trying to save up at least 300 a month but it’s soooo damn hard when you need to pay ur cell and car.😰 im trying to move out of my parents house to an apartment soon
. it’s just hard when you wanna spend the left over money on clothes and stuff 😩😩🙏

If you’re not making enough money or aren’t disciplined enough to save an extra $300 a month, you need to take longer shifts, get a raise, and realize you probably can’t move out anytime soon...

Assuming you’re not paying rent at your parents, maybe you’re not making enough to move out. If you can’t save $300, how are you going to afford rent, utilities, electric, WiFi, etc. Maybe open just a savings account at another bank, so if you want to take money out of the savings, you have to actually go to the atm to take money out

One thing that helps me is having a separate savings account. I auto transfer part of my paycheck into it on the day I get paid so that I never even see I had that money. I forget about it and focus only on what's in my checking. Doing this, I've been able to save $7K just since February. 
I also take every transfer from my husband (he gives me some every month for bills) and put it into a third account that I also forget exists so that I'm paying as much as I can out of my checking. I only touch the third account if I'm running low on my main account.

Buy a piggy bank. Ever since I bought one, I'm never tempted to dig back in for my money.
I also go out less, it decreased my urge to spend on things I don't really need.
You're pretty lucky living rent free, discipline yourself and take advantage of it by saving.

Make a zero-based budget and tell every single one of your dollars where it will be going, don’t leave any room for error or guessing. You can even do a line on your budget for like $50 a month for new things, but only if you can do that and meet your savings goal with all of your bills considered. 
My hubby and I have always done a budget every single month and we are able to save a ton each month that we were just wasting on random stuff before. It all adds up so much faster than you realize. 
Two trips to McDonald’s could be a whole new outfit at Marshall’s or whatever. Just remember that every time you swipe your card. 
Oh and that too! Have a separate savings account other than your checking so that your $300 a month is actually separate from your spending money, and try to keep your spending money in cash so that 1.) you don’t constantly see your savings balance and want to spend it and 2.) it hurts the soul a bit more to give away paper cash. Seeing your money go away is a lot harder when you don’t just swipe it and see it later on. 
You’ve got this! Just ask yourself every time you’re tempted to buy, “Do I want this more than I want to move out and be independent?”
You’ll get the hang of it! Shopping used to be my kryptonite but now I just buy what I absolutely need and I have a lot more money and a lot less clutter too☺️👌🏼

Maybe put away less. Pay bills first and whatever extra money you have left over take some out for savings. If you are having trouble now saving 300; imagine when you move out and having to pay rent.

Make a budget... it helps you stick to your goals and use cash for nonessentials... it's harder to spend money when you physically see the cash leaving your wallet

$300 a month might just be impossible (would be for me!  Lol).  Make a list of your monthly income, your monthly bills, and a list of your estimated spending on anything else (categorize it if you can).  I would suggest using the last few monthly bank statement for this.  Then see how much you have left over each month and start there with your savings.  Take a look at the things you spend your money on - can you cut any of them out?  I did this recently and realized I was spending about $50 a week at the cafe at work, and my husband was spending way too much at the vending machine at his work 🙄.  It has made a huge difference just cutting out/reducing those two things.
