IUD (Paraguard) Pregnancy?

Hey ladies!

So I’m sure I’m just freaking myself out with over thinking but here’s what’s going on.

I had the Paraguard IUD placed in February. My husband and I had a baby in November (2017) and want to wait till we have another.

My periods even on Paraguard have been very regular (they’ve always been like clock work even before I got it). My body is always right on time with everything and I can even tell when I ovulate.

Me and my husband had sex during my ovulation week this month. We always check my strings first and he said he could feel them. So I don’t believe it fell out.

I had light pink spotting on Monday, nothing Tuesday, and then light pink/light brown again on Wednesday morning but now I’ve had nothing (it’s Thursday).

My period is supposed to start on Saturday.

I’m concerned because when I got pregnant with my last baby I had the exact same type of spotting before my missed period that I’m assuming was implantation.

I’m waiting till my scheduled period day to take a test because I don’t want to waste money on one if I’m being silly.

I guess my question is have any of you ladies got pregnant with an IUD? I’ve read horror stories and am trying not to worry.

I’ll keep you all posted if I start my period/or take a test this weekend.
