Important question

Me and my husband just decided to start trying for our third baby.  It's been years since I had kids and this is the first time TTC for a planned baby. I've been taking the ovulation tests and this evening I took a test and it's LH positive but wasn't this morning.  We have two girls and are hoping for a boy so we are trying to have a better chance of a boy. I'm still a little confused. Does the first positive test mean it's your Ovulation day and would it be a better chance of having a boy today or wait until tomorrow?  I hope this doesn't sound stupid just trying to understand it all. Thanks!
