"Oppressive laws"(read description)
When it comes to oppressive laws or restrictions should "personal beliefs" outweigh, the safety of society?
I suppose oppressive laws/rules can be somewhat subjective what im talking about is more like laws against or that threaten bodily autonomy, marriage rights, adoption rights, discrimination, decriminalization of drugs/prostitution etc. When it comes to law making, or voting things into office, should your personal beliefs outweigh whats been proven safest for society?
