What meds can I take?

I went to urgent care cuz my throat by my ear and the inside of my ear are killing me, and hurts more when I swallow. I swore it was strep or an ear infection. They said it's just drainage. What can or do you take for sinuses? I'll be 19 weeks tomorrow.

Claritin works well for me and doesn't make me drowsy. Also my doctor prescribed me Flonase. It's a steroid but just stays in the nasal cavity, it doesn't cross the placenta.

I was put on amoxicillin this week so the same thing plus a fever of 100.3- I am prone to pneumonia and such so to be safe and prevent it from worsening - antibiotics. I am 22wks.

I would probably seek better doctors, but in the meantime treat with allergy medicine and saline nose spray.

If it's caused by sinuses you can take Benadryl. It helps a lot!

You can use saline spray, original affrin spray, Tylenol, and throat losanges. If the sinus drainage is due to allergies you can take otc meds like Claritin or Zyrtec as long as you by the original not one that has a decongestant
