How well did this stuff work for you?

I have been using the tummy butter but do not like how it feels so I bought the lotion. I’m only 11+4 but I already have stretch marks and just kinda want to keep them under control if I can 😣

Stretch marks will appear if they want to, they’re hereditary, anything that specifically “targets” stretch marks IMO is bogus. As long as you keep your belly moisturized that’ll help keep them under control.

So I’ve been doing my own little experiment. I know that there is a genetic component but that doesn’t mean I was going to just give up and let it happen lol. I have existing stretch marks from puberty, no new ones from pregnancy yet. I’ve been using an organic belly balm on my hips/stomach (no stretch marks there at all)/boobs, and this lotion on my thighs. The marks I had from puberty have lightened to nearly nothing on my hips and boobs. The ones on my thighs have remained the same. I unfortunately can’t use the balm on my thighs because it makes me break out when I shave, but it’s worth a shot if you want. I got it from Motherhood Maternity and it’s called “organic belly balm” lol. No fancy name or claims that it’ll prevent anything. Aloe also lightens marks really well. I’ve made my own Shea butter/aloe mix in the past with good results.

Personally I don’t like this brand mostly because I hate the smell of the products but when I did have hope of controlling my marks they didn’t help much at all, bio oil is suppose to be amazing for stretch marks I’ve only personally used it for a scar on my face and arm and it fated it lots on my face and you can’t even see the scar on my arm anymore (less deep but was more visible) so imagine it would work wonders on stretch marks too

You can’t prevent them, but you can reduce their appearance once they’re there. Vitamin E oil does WONDERS for that.
