IUI DONE Tuesday, positive ov test Wednesday morning. Question, did I get the IUI too soon?

I got a positive then had IUI the next morning. I wanted to see if it was positive when I got home from the procedure, and sure enough it was. Guess we are in the same boat! Natural cycle for us.... hoping between the IUI and the BD the day following IUI that it works 🤞🏼

Did you trigger? If so that’s why your still getting a positive test the trigger hangs around for awhile

I triggered on a Monday, got a positive OPK on Tuesday and had IUI Wednesday morning (our very first cycle) and we are now pregnant!! 
But there is nothing wrong with having the IUI before ovulation as long as his swimmers are healthy. That way the swimmers will be up there waiting for the egg!! 🙂 Fingers crossed for you 🤞🏼✨

My dr said to do it before ovulation.
