Can my weight be the reason why I’m not getting pregnant? I’m 23, 5’3” and weigh close to 230.

It is harder for medically obese women to become pregnant and pregnancy would be a higher risk for complications.  
If you are prepared to lose weight it would be beneficial to both you and your future children.   However you can still become pregnant at a higher weight.  
It’s probably best to start with your doctor.  Best of luck on your journey.
