Threatened miscarriage

Bleeding bright red for the past 2 days. Went to my Dr and she took a blood test but said I'm too early for an ultrasound..I'm only 6 weeks 5 days. I have to wait until Monday to take another bloodtest and then wait again until Thursday to see if my levels have increased. What did you experience when you miscarried?I'm not cramping just bright red blood. Sorry for the graphic photo but I just can't stop crying because of the what if's.... please share your experience.
