I’m utterly confused by this. I’m not an active feminist and disagree with a number of things a lot of them agree with, by stereotype, but is it true that in Christianity, women are inferior to men? This questions arises from a previous conversation I had with my mother, a little bothersome. She believes a woman belongs in the kitchen... I wanted and began to say that seems a little unfair, wrong, unnecessarily restrictive. We’re a Christian family and she fought back with, it says it the Bible that women are meant to serve men. I don’t read the Bible as often as I should (NIV) is this true?
