I’ve been to New York and several places in California near Los Angeles, and while both places are great I’d pick Los Angeles because you’re closer to more fun towns and the beach. They both have a very different vibe and lifestyle

Never been to either place, I would probably choose LA though.  Something about New York just doesn’t sit right with me.  It’s not a place I ever intended on visiting.
