I have some free time to finally share my birth story ... due date was 7/24-7/26

7/30 i woke up to mild cramps at 4:30AM. I didn’t think anything of it so i just went back to sleep. 5:30AM i was awakened by even stronger pains , so i started timing them . They were 8-10 mins apart , so i decided to go for a walk 6:40 . It didn’t speed up the process . So i just laid back down and took a nap until 10AM . I went to my last doc app at 2PM , i was finally dilated to a 3 🙌🏽 after being a 1 for two weeks or so.. so i ended up going to get something food , something spicy to see if it helps speeds up things with my contractions because it’s still so gapped and not consistent!! 🙄 so spicy food didn’t work, so went to Walmart to walk around in the AC lol it’s too hot in Palm Springs to walk outside . Soo i walked for a hour or so , ended up buying a medicine ball . Went to sprouts and bought raspberry tea leaf . Came home 8PM-ish . Put on a movie and bounced and drank the tea for the entire movie 2hrs &15 mins . Throughout bouncing my contractions started coming back to back (totally believe the ball put me into labor ) so i decided to lay down , and i couldn’t i started to get very strong ones soo 10:45PM , i got in the shower to attempt to shave 😂(when i looked down after baby was out , i did a hell of a job 😂😂 patches EVERYWHERE ) after the shower i told my husband come on let’s go we need to head to the hospital they are coming to strongly and to fast to where i couldn’t catch my breath . So 11:25 i was admitted yayyyyy i was 4/5 dilated . So pain was tolerable but I’m such chicken shit and didn’t want to feel so they asked if i would like the epidural or to start pitocin .. uhmm epidural for $200 please lol ! So i got my epidural (that was a piece of cake , didnt hurt AT ALL whatsoever, so ladies don’t be afraid of it if you’re deciding to get it ) after that i was told to rest cause baby should be coming soon, we’ll rest wasn’t an option i was too anxious /excited /scared.... fast fwd ....... after HOURSSSS I’m finally at a 6 (things were moving so slowly now ) when they went to check me my water broke and I’m thinking ohhhh yess it’s go time soon .... nope my baby’s heart stopped after she popped my waters , she apparently did not like my laying on my back . Nurses started calling in for more help to find baby’s heart raTe they ended up sticking something up my vag to find it . I’m not sure what it was but there was no longer a monitor on my belly it was up my vag . So anyways the scare was finally over . The day carried on (epidural saves lives let me repeat again lol ) finally checked again 1:00PM 7/31 I’m a 10 and cervix Completely thinned and ready to GOOO . They start setting up so i started pushing on my epidural button to dispense some more meds (I’m a nervous wreck SO SO SCARED ) they start telling my instructions on how to push .... wow that is sooooo hard to do seriously with numb legs lol . I didn’t feel anything tho down below so that’s a good thing !!! Anyways pushing and baby is stuck so i was vacuumed assisted and baby is finally out 1:20PM . With the cord wrapped around her neck once . shes okay . as for myself , i tore to the 3rd degree .. there’s 1-4 and i was at a three ... FML now recovery is BY FAR MORE WORST than actual pregnancy, contractions , and delivery !!! Seriously the tear and uncomfortableness is so unbearable ! U can’t sit down for shit . You’re moving so slowly to get to your crying baby it sucked sooo bad .. I’m still healing from it (11days later ). But in the end of everything i always said i didn’t want more than one kid but i would TOTALLY do this all over again . Now i see why everyone says “it’s sooo worth it “ 🙃🙃 i just hope i wouldn’t tear again !!! But here’s a pic of my princess .. 7lbs 14oz 20in
