My daughters birth
So apparently i never told my birth story for my daughter!
She was born November 25, 2016.
Thanksgiving started out normal, i was at my moms house helping cook dinner. My boyfriend had to work sadly (thats why i was at my moms). We finally ate about 3pm, about 5 my boyfriend got off work and came and got me so we could do some black Friday shopping and eat some pie together. We got home from shopping about 11:00pm.
Normally i only eat pumpkin pie but that night i just WANTED dutch apple pie. I ate the whole thing! We get ready for bed, i literally just lay down and get comfy and i feel this weird pop feeling in the right side of my tummy area, so i get up to go pee and i just felt a trickle down my leg, not a gush like most people experience. I think i just peed myself a bit. Well i go pee and come back to bed and i feel weird. My boyfriend looks at me with the weirdest look and says “you okay?” I think i am and i ask him if he could smell what ever was dripping down my legs, i sit down and spread my legs a bit and i have a small gush of fluid come out. I tell him to get dressed because i think my water broke. We get to the hospital about 5 minutes later. I get in to L&D; and they get me all situated. They go to swab me to check it it was my water and more came out. Its 12:30am at this point. The test comes back and its positive for my water. We sot there all night waiting. Nothing. No contractions no more water leakage. 7:00am the dr comes in and says they are gonna start pictocin and break my water at 8am. So we call our family’s and let them know. Everyone on my side is their within 20 minutes! His side didn’t come to the hospital. Well everything is going good my cervix is dilating and baby girl is headed down. 12:00pm i say i need to push! 12:36pm she was born and placed on me. She was 7lbs 5.3 oz 20 inches long. We tell the dr her name is Abigail Marie. My dad finally saw it was really a little girl and went out and bought our infant carseat and got it installed for us!
Shes now almost 2 years old and expecting a little brother any day now!
