IUD strings feel shorter?

Hello, here I go with my overthinking!

I’ve had the copper IUD for 2 months, first period went good. I was supposed to get my period 5 days ago, but nothing comes.

I do have a partner and he uses no protection, so I am a little nervous.

I felt my strings today and they poked me! They are usually long, and today they barely stick out of my cervix. Since I’m 5 days late I know I’m probably not ovulating, so I’m just worried.

It’s the first time I feel the strings that short.

Any help?
