Really you should be having age appropriate versions of the talk as soon as the child starts asking questions and having play dates... as young as 2. The earlier you start the more time you gift you and your child bc when they are older they are getting the information from their friends and other sources which are likely inaccurate and not aligned with your family values and practices.

I was actually never given the talk 😂😂😂 my sister got it and they wound up being very promiscuous and just some BAD teens. Where as I was the good one lol really just give it when they start asking about stuff

You should have “the talk” continuously through childhood and adolescence - age-appropriate versions, of course. The sex talk should never be a one-and-done situation.

My mom never sat me down to give me “the talk” there was just always a n open dialogue about all of that. It wasn’t one conversation & she was always very open about her own experiences.
